Fall protection (OSHA)

OSHA’s requirements for guarding workers against fall hazards above a set height threshold — anchors, harnesses, guardrails, or safety nets, depending on the work. Roofing is one of the trades OSHA inspects most aggressively for fall-protection compliance, and a missing or improperly rigged anchor point is among the most commonly cited violations on a job site, separate from whatever incident prompted the inspection in the first place.
